ME
Passionate About Inspiring Others
I have a Master's degree in Counseling with over 20 years of experience. As a cancer survivor, I know the importance of living a balanced life, and not to get stuck listening to those old and unhealthy tapes in our heads. In 2014 I adopted a son from foster care.
This experience has greatly impacted my life. It has also made me an advocate for those without a voice. I also have a background in education, where I taught social studies and self-esteem to middle school students. As a counselor, I have worked with people from all walks of, helping them to achieve their full potential. I had the good fortune of living in Sweden and traveling throughout Europe, parts of Asia, and the Middle East. The world is a wondrous place if we take the time to immerse ourselves in the beauty of its many cultures and landscapes. My passions are helping people, traveling, crocheting, and cooking. This allows me to take a deep breath and slow down.
